Kevin Fajardo, MD

Dr. Fajardo is a board-certified dermatologist. He specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer, as well as the diagnosis and management of other skin conditions, including psoriasis, chronic sun damage, dermatitis, acne, eczema, hair loss, nail disease, and autoimmune skin conditions.  Whether you seek the most up-to-date medical practices and procedures, or more natural treatments, Dr. Fajardo will take the time to explain all the options and tailor a treatment plan to your individual and unique needs. He also welcomes patients of all ages!

Dr. Fajardo has a varied training background in multiple areas of medicine. Following a master’s degree at the University of Michigan in molecular epidemiology, he attended the Uniformed Services University for medical school, where he was ranked in the top 10% of his class.  He went on to train in preventive medicine, specializing in tropical medicine and hygiene, prior to a residency in dermatology.  He is triple board-certified, with certifications in preventive medicine, occupational medicine, and dermatology.

You will likely find something interesting to chat with Dr. Fajardo about. Coming from a military family, he has lived in 12 states in the U.S. While he played in the Michigan drumline during college, he is just now trying to master a drum set. He also still likes to dabble in art projects ranging from water colors to pencil portraits.  For those patients with a history of sun exposure, Dr. Fajardo can sympathize, as years of triathlon training, hiking, and biking has left him with a little bit of sun damage of his own. In the end, no matter what brings you into the office, Dr. Fajardo is here to help and will be glad to meet you!
